The Borough of Lewisburg invested in improvements to South 5th Street in the vicinity of the borough offices and Hufnagle Park. BMDLA was involved as the Landscape Sub-contractor to Mid-State Paving Inc. This project included the installation of brick paving on both sides of the street for an entire block, the installation of street trees for two blocks, and the completion of a rain garden at the end of 5th street, where stormwater from the street is filtered before dumping into Bull Run.
